| last time his motor failed because of an overheating "issue" and shortly after that, the piston/and or wrist pin sheared straight in half. that taught us something. 1] no bearing failure. knock likely not a problem. 2] no melted pistons, knock , likely, not a problem. 3] wrist pin and piston sheared STRAIGHT in half, a definate weak point from a structural standpoint. = addressed. let's find the next weak link. that's what racing and R&D is all about. And yes, I wish him well as well. I am building almost the same motor along side his, but with 8.5/1 pistons, mainly so future customers know what to expect from a typical/superlative setup. Otherwise, after driving his car, I would build my motor with his pistons as well.
